Welcome to Renaissance Woman Studio

Welcome! This is my blog spot. This is my way of sharing all the things I love. I have many interests and hobbies. So many in fact that when my husband told one of his friends of my many interests and hobbies, he said I was a real renaissance woman! I paint in oils, acrylics, watercolors, soft pastels, sketching, stained glass, spinning yarn, crochet, jewelry making, gardening, interior decorating, cooking and antiques. This blog will show what I am currently working on, what interests me, and hopefully, give someone inspiration to do the same. Let me know what you think and have fun!

This is my studio before converting is from a spare room.
this is my studio in progress.

I wanted my studio to be light and inspiring. Somewhere I could go and let my creative juices flow.I love antiques, I even had my own antiques business for several years, so my studio is filled with things I love. Since I have so many interests, I wanted a place to work on my many projects. I tend to have several different projects going at one time. This gives me a place to work on them without loosing track of where I am. I do all of this while working a full time job.
This is one of my acrylic paintings,
"Bee's eye view"

I will attempt to show what I'm working on, work it progress and things that inspire me. Hang on, this could get messy!
